Mindfulness/Meditation

A practice is something you do regularly that slowly and methodically impacts the mind and body on a long term basis.

Meditation can be viewed as a formal sit-down type of practice (setting aside 5-20 minutes to ‘sit’ and meditate), whereas a mindfulness practice can be an ongoing and short set of exercises. It becomes a simple way of being in life. You feel more ‘awake’ to what surrounds you and to what brings you joy and contentment.

Tina believes that meditation and mindfulness are paramount to a well-balanced life. A life where awareness and insight are fully present and control over emotional responses is second nature. By practicing mindfulness you strengthen your ability to know more about yourself, those around you and a way of living that fills you with joy, contentment, and happiness.
